part one, part two, part three, part four, part five
Here's one more song for the Anniversary Dance. This dance is very important to me and I want to be sure that we pick the perfect song. This one is a little upbeat, but I think you could still slow dance to it. The words convey perfectly what the dance is all about.

Music Mondays: Part Five
part one, part two, part three, part four
Allright guys, bear with me. I was in MN all weekend visiting my love, and I had bronchitis for the SECOND time in THREE weeks, so I've been a little MIA lately. But I took advantage of being sick again and went home Wednesday before leaving Friday for MN, so I got a couple more projects done that I'll be sharing with you in the very immediate future.
Now back to your regular scheduled Music Monday.
Here's an option if you're thinking about having a Last Dance. I know it's probably pretty typical last dance material but I have loved this movie since I was a little girl, and wouldn't it just be great to dance this dance before walking out of your reception? Haha wishful thinking.
"I've Had The Time of My Life" by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes
I wanted to post the video where they're actually dancing the dance, but all of those had the embedding disabled. So if you want to see my favorite dance of all time, click here.

Music Mondays: Part Four
part one, part two, part three
We're back to first dance songs this week. I stumbled across this song for the first time ever a couple months ago and fell in love with it. I was really excited and had my sister listen to it and she was amazed I hadn't heard it before. Am I the only one??
I sent it Mr. T's way and he told me it was kinda lame, aka girly. And that it's nothing like what we listen to. I don't really think that matters, but oh well. So we won't be using this song, but I thought I'd share it with you anyways in case you're like me and haven't heard it yet.

Music Mondays: Part Three
part one, part two
I'm skipping around a little today. I'm looking for a song for our Anniversary Dance. I want it to be something that everyone can relate to and appreciate. Maybe something going back to an older era?
This one's not too old, but it is older than my generation.

Music Monday: Part Two
part one
Yes, I realize it is in fact Tuesday, and not Monday as the title implies....but I was sick yesterday and didn't quite get around to posting this. I finally got around to downloading some new songs last week and updating my iPod and I heard this on my drive back to school this morning for the first time. I'm not gonna lie, I cried a tear or two imagining Mr. T and I dancing on our wedding night.
"History in the Making" by Darius Rucker
If you haven't noticed yet, Mr. T and I are country fans, and I'm sure our first dance will reflect that.
I've only heard it on the radio a couple of times, and I'm really hoping it's not one of those songs that gets quickly overplayed and everyone gets sick of.
Have you picked your first dance song yet?? Feel free to send ideas my way.

Music Monday: Part One
I've decided to take a page out of Katie's book, ummm blog. For the past three mondays she has been posting a song on her blog "Random Reflections of a Perfectionist."
I'm also looking for a perfect song for our first dance, so I've decided to share a song with you as well.
Here's this week's. The song is pretty old, but I still love it. I actually didn't know that Keith Whitley originally sang it before Alison Krauss.
The only version I can find to embed here will only play 30 seconds of the song. Click this link to listen to the full song on YouTube.
